WE ARE A CITB APPROVED TRAINING ORGANISATION

Being a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO) means that Hercules Academy and our courses meet the standards required by CITB and the wider construction industry. We offer a broad selection of courses that fall under the three categories of training recognised by the ATO scheme. These categories are:

Assured courses – short-duration training delivered in line with the CITB training standard.
CITB products – courses such as SMSTS and SSSTS, which are accredited by CITB.
Recognised products – training and qualifications accredited by other awarding bodies, such as City & Guilds or PASMA.

As an ATO, we submit the required information to CITB’s Construction Training Register (CTR) following each course. This helps to ensure that accurate training records are kept for construction workers and allows our clients to receive any eligible CITB grant payments promptly.

We also support our clients with applications for the Skills and Training Fund, which provides financial support to invest in workforce training.

CITB Employer Network

Employer Networks have been established to make it easier for local construction employers to access training that is funded by CITB. The CITB Employer Network is a CITB-funded initiative aimed at simplifying the way construction employers access both training and funding. To encourage businesses to upskill their workforce, CITB is offering each registered employer up to £25,000 per year to support their training needs.
